Bringing out powerful music from the “first timers” all the way to the “big timers.” Band Dynamics in Littleton, Colorado is a year-round music program created “to prepare students for life by igniting their inner potential and encouraging the pursuit of excellence through music”.

Free Adult Art Classes
Free art classes for adults are located inside the Art Students League of Denver building.
Classes are limited to the first 20 attendees on a first come, first served basis.
All materials will be provided. No experience is necessary--just bring your interest in art!

Learning to Draw: The Fundamentals
with Rick Brogan
Spend an hour with us learning how to draw. Do you need help with perspective? Shading? Come with your questions and leave with practical answers. Hands-on exercises will help you develop your drawing skills, such as perspective, value, line, and shading. Bring yourself and an interest in drawing—all materials will be provided. No experience is necessary.

Tile-Making: An Introduction to Ceramics
with Cathy Avram
Are you interested in ceramics but don’t know where to begin? Join us for a hands-on experience as you decorate your own tile by stamping, carving, and impressing images. Your finished tile will be glazed and fired, ready for you to pick up in 7-10 days. Materials will be provided. No experience is necessary.

Create a Mixed Media Collage
with Judith Cassel-Mamet
Explore the magic of collage—a no-rules approach to art. Spend an hour exploring the effects of combining different materials. You will leave this workshop with a piece of original art and a new perspective on your own creativity! Materials will be provided, although you can bring your own collage items. No experience is necessary.

You Can Paint!
with Sandra Kaplan
Have you always wanted to learn how to paint? Have you just started painting and need some guidance? In this one-hour class, Sandra will explore the basics of painting and then guide you to start your own painting. All materials will be provided. No experience is necessary.
