Change to Prorating Policy

Effective March 2008

The League will prorate ongoing classes beginning March 2008. Students must inform us at the time of registration which dates they are going to attend and must only attend the days they registered. If they show up for a date they are not registered for they cannot stay and the instructor will not let them attend (unless there is space and they pay for that date).

Credit and Refund Policy

Before you register, be sure your calendar is clear! The League does not provide class credits, refunds or transfers unless a class is cancelled (certain restrictions apply).

NEW POLICY- Acts of God

Art Students League - Acts of God Refund Policy

Effective 2007

When the Art Students League of Denver must close its buildings or cancel classes due to Acts of God, i.e., blizzards/snow accumulations, floods, tornados or other extreme conditions, refunds to students currently enrolled will be in the form of a certificate to be used for the rescheduled class or workshop or another class or workshop of the same value or a lesser amount. It must be used by the date indicated. If the enrolled student cannot use the certificate, it will be transferable to another person.

Classes

Most Ongoing Classes meet once or twice a week from September through May and are designed to provide students the opportunity to learn in an open, individualized studio environment. The League encourages students who do not have a strong art foundation to participate in the Fundamentals of Art and Introduction to Art Media classes before pursuing an Ongoing Class.

Each class description notes its beginning and ending dates. Students can pay monthly for ongoing classes. Because many ongoing classes fill quickly, we recommend you register in advance to ensure your spot. Students can register after a class has started if space available.

Workshops

To further master a specific art form or skill, specialty workshops and seminars are offered throughout the year for students of all abilities. Please note that workshops cannot be prorated because of sequential content within each session.

Because many workshops fill quickly, to ensure a space, please register before the registration deadline.
