Chlorophyll Printing Workshop

BINH DANH  Ability: All Levels 
Capture your favorite photographic images on the leaf of a tropical plant through chlorophyll printing, a camera-less process that attaches digital images to living leaves through exposure to the sun. Explore what images work best and how to preserve your prints.

Chemigram Printing Workshop
HEATHER OELKLAUS  Ability: All Levels
Embrace your playful side while you experiment with a fun camera-free image-capturing technique. Using uncomplicated materials and basic wet darkroom techniques, create on-of-a-kind silvers gelatin prints. Bring home a stack of unique prints and a deeper understanding of camera-less photography.
Please note: bring a sketchbook and apron. All other supplies will be provided.

Knowing How Not to Know

BRUCE PRICE  Ability: All Levels
Join Bruce Price in a studio workshop experience to talk about art, think about art and make some marks. Conversations will be interactive and will cover topics such as: Creativity and Emergent Theory: Making things upl Art as evolutionary system; Artwork as research; How to act without knowing what you're doing; Sensation/Perception/Conception Loop; Transcendental materialism: Color and other Relational Fields; Art in the twenty first century: From what art is to what art can do! Course meets at ASLD generally Friday will include offsite visits.
