Ancient Images | Modern Icons:
Visual Journaling to the Goddess

JUDITH CASSEL-MAMET & MARY SARACINO

This image-rich workshop takes you on a historic visual journey through the many forms and manifestations of goddess imagery in art. Your adventure begins with an exploration of ancient and contemporary iconography of the Sacred Female as you view hundreds of Divine Feminine images—from 100,000-year-old prehistoric cave art to modern day Black Madonnas. Immersed  in this inspiring legacy, students will be guided in mixed media techniques to create a visual  journal that expresses your personal experience of the Divine Feminine. No experience in drawing or writing is necessary!
