Introduction to Monotypes: See It in Black and White
Joe Higgins   Ability: All Levels
By starting with the most basic actions and interactions of printmaking, and by limiting the color spectrum to black and white — along with their diverse and underrated offspring, gray — you will learn about the fundamentals of composition. Explore the unique interactions of ink, paper, and press to create texture, graphic power, and spontaneous imagery — which combine to make a uniquely powerful graphic language. Discover the rainbow of imagery that can be found in just two tubes of ink.
