To provide variety and a depth of experience, you will spend four days with a master teacher--
two days in each of two media. 
Choose two of the following media areas: 

Cost: $220 members, $260 non-members (includes $40 educator membership)
Graduate credit:  $110 for 2 graduate credits from Adams State College


Clay: Picking Up the Pace
Janey Skeer
Build large functional and sculptural clay forms. This workshop focuses on effective, time-saving techniques for hand-building. Create dramatic surfaces that vary in depth and detail. Explore texture using steel, wood, and plastic as stamps to make impressions in clay. Use clay slips and stains to make the textured surfaces that come to life!    $15 materials fee
Figure Drawing and Painting
Andrea Kemp
This class will explore various approaches to the nude human figure using the fundamental elements of composition. Emphasis will be placed on line quality, shapes, values, and edges. Learn methods and techniques to assist you in achieving accurate proportions in your work.
Screen Printing
Mark Friday
Screen printing allows an artist to print images on materials ranging from paper to fabric. This workshop will teach you the basics of screen printing — from building screens to creating multi-colored prints — which can be translated easily to the classroom.   $15 materials fee
Mixed Media: Art from Anything
Lauri Lynnxe Murphy
Anything in the world is potential art material! Collage is more than just randomly glued scraps of paper — it reveals the fundamentals of composition and design. This class will teach you to create collages and sculptures from found and cast-off materials — the ultimate in recycling!    $15 materials fee
